SEBRE is commencing the distribution of Pilsner Urquell beer in Serbia. The whole of Serbia will now be able to enjoy this world-renowned lager whose tradition dates back to 1842.
SEBRE is distributing Pilsner Urquell in Serbia
All of the SEBRE group greatly enjoys the golden beverage, and that is why it wanted to share it with their professional friends from Serbia. This gave birth do the idea to start the distribution of the “liquid gold” from Pilsen in Serbia, where it has been missing on the market up to now. And so SEBRE became the official distributor of Pilsner Urquell a. s. in Serbia.
“We came up with the idea over a beer and it immediately turned into a pressing spiritual and cultural mission – to enrich Serbian culture with the Czech golden treasure, one that will go perfectly with Serbian cuisine. Of course the availability of the source of our inspiration and ideas became a life-or-death question,” jokingly said Jan Kubíček, CEO of SEBRE, describing the moment when it was decided to import Czech beer into Serbia. Kubíček also added: The main brands that we will distribute will be Velkopopovický Kozel and of course the one and only Pilsner Urqell.”

We shared our passion for beer with the Belgrade Gvožďara Brewery 1870. Thanks to this partnership we were able to combine Pilsen beer with Serbian cuisine, symbolizing our Czech-Serbian cooperation. In addition to the Pilsner Urquell classic, Velkopopovický Kozel is also offered on tap.

The most famous Czech brewery in the world is renowned for its outstanding bitter beer. It was the first to introduce this pale lager, already in 1842. Many other breweries tried to copy its unique taste and attempted to produce a similar pale lager; now pale lager represents two thirds of all global beer production. Pilsner Urquell is the largest brewery in the Czech Republic.
