The investment company SEBRE is expanding its scope of cinematographic activities and is joining the technology startup ARTINII. The platform that provides global distribution of thematically focused movies uses unique technology to bring together viewers and movie makers. Viewers can legally watch movies from all over the world, while the creators can offer their movies to audiences they could not reach otherwise.
SEBRE enters into technology company ARTINII
SEBRE is expanding its interest into cinematography and, after entering the Serbian movie studio AVALA in 2016, it is now investing in the Czech-based ARTINII. Its aim is to provide easy community-based distribution of movies. “Many movies are being created all over the world that not many people will even hear about, as they do not reach international distribution for various reasons. Despite this, these movies have the potential to capture certain audiences in different countries. In addition to offering one-time viewing of big movies, ARTINII also distributes small specialized movies. Thanks to its search engine, producers all over the world are given the unique opportunity to reach viewers that would otherwise never have heard of their creations. And for viewers, ARTINII helps discover treasures that they would have been able to watch otherwise,” explains Jan Fidler, on behalf of SEBRE.
The community-based movie distributor ARTINII was founded by Ctirad Hemelík and Vítem Krajíčkem in 2015, following up on an earlier effort to screen unique movies for specialized communities: Ctirad Hemelík had previously organized a small movie festival in the area of Evolution and Openmind in 2007. “I knew about many movies that were based on books which were bestsellers in the Czech Republic. I wanted to get a hold of these movies and do a screening. But the whole communication with distributors was very complicated and dragged on for a long time. Even though I did manage to organize the festival in the end, I started to look for some easier solution for when I find a specialized movie and want to rent it and screen it for one evening to a group of people, maybe making a bit of profit along the way.” In 2015 Ctirad Hemelík met Vít Krajíček, who has been producing interactive technologies for American movies since 2015, and they started working together. SEBRE now provides ARTINII with further potential for increased growth. A new special screening system will be created that will help search for movies of similar genres and topics. This will make the distribution of movies easier in general.

TECHNOLOGY
After downloading the freely available screening system, you will be able to legally screen an abundance of movies from the movie database, all of them for a reasonable price. The system then helps creators distribute their work and protect it against piracy. All you need to do to watch a movie from any part of the world is two speakers, a projector, and a special screening system.
The film database is open to producers from all over the world and offers thematically varied genres, ranging from foreign classics up to hard-to-find specialized community movies.
